Day 1 : Beirut - Colombo.
Day 2 : Colombo - Kandalama (Pinnawala).
Arrival Colombo, meet assist and transfer to the Hotel in Kandalama. En route visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. This Orphanage was started in 1975 with seven orphans to house abandoned and wounded elephants. The sanctuary covers 25 acres of lush vegetation with an approximate population of about 77 consisting of both adult and baby elephants. The best time to visit is the feeding time and the bathing time; when all the elephants are taken to the river close by. Proceed to Hotel and check in. Overnight in Kandalama.
Day 3 : Kandalama - Sigiriya - Kandy.
After breakfast climb the 5th century Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is a world heritage site built by King Kashyapa. “The Lion Rock” is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle. Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the “Heavenly Maidens” of Sigiriya which are in the sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway. Continue to Kandy the laidback capital of the hill country, and the historical bastion of Buddhist power, is built around a peaceful lake and set in a picturesque bowl of hills. Today it is the center of Buddhism, Arts, Crafts and Culture. En route visit a Spice Garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Witness a cookery demonstration. Proceed to hotel and check in Hotel. Late afternoon City tour of Kandy the last capital of Sri Lankan King with drive around the Kandy Lake and visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden. Evening performance of cultural dance in Kandy. Overnight hotel in Kandy.
Day 4 : Kandy - Peradeniya - Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast visit Royal Botanical Gardens built by Sinhala king. Its 147 acres provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Continue to Nuwara Eliya. En route visit a tea plantation & a tea factory where the best tea in the world is produced. Witness how Ceylon’s famous high-grown tea is plucked from bushes and processed to what we see globally in packs. Continue to Nuwara Eliya - The "Little England" of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations and visit the Victoria Park. Nuwara Eliya is the heart of Sri Lanka and the highest mountain: Piduratalagala (8282 feet) is located here. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 5 : Nuwara Eliya - Colombo
After breakfast proceed to Colombo via Kitulgala. Check in Hotel in Colombo. Afternoon city tour of Colombo, like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Visit the 100 year old clock tower and watch theseveral British built colonial. Proceed and visit the Pettah bazaar, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, the residential
areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent, the Colombo museum, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH)- an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China, and the Dutch Museum. Overnight hotel in Colombo
Day 6 : Colombo - Beirut
After breakfast transfer to airport and return to Beirut
